like Auntie, like niece
My niece is fierce in her leopard print jacket, much like how I was fierce with my leopard blouse in my previous entry hihi. Love you Kali and can't wait for you to grow up.

roar!
I wanted to pose fiercely so that it will match my animalistic top.
So I tried...

and tried...

and I finally gave up since it was not turning out to be fierce but rather funny.
Better luck next time I guess :)

boo!
Boo! This is what I wore last Friday. I was thinking of a really good pose with my batwing like top, so here ya go. Boo!

top-Chatuchak; leggings - Divisoria; platforms - Parisian at SM (less than 700 bucks!)
It's funny how I was trying to be scary in the first photo, looking closely though, I am a kikay zombie (see right pinky ;p)
Have a great day and remember... Everyday is a runway show! (thanks Jakee!!!)
PS. Thanks Jo for the zombie photo

i heart vintage
Went to my good friends Joril and Ferdine's wedding last June 27. This is what I wore :)
dress - Viva Vintage; bag - ukay (P 80 only!!!); belt - Mango
The happy and beautiful couple with friends :)
My dress from Viva Vintage is amazing, its a tube dress with umbrella style skirt (don't know what it's called sorry) but its really beautiful. Please check out their site in Multiply as they have great fashion finds all the time plus dealing with the uber nice Daniel is a breeze.
Congratulations Joril and Ferdine :)

thank you for fighting for us
This morning when I came in at the office, sad news welcomed me. Soldiers were killed in a clash in Basilan. The number of casualties were different in the papers and from this article but one thing is clear, there are now a lot of families without a dad, son, brother and friend.

I always have a soft spot for soldiers because my Dad retired from the service a couple of years back. My favorite uncle was also a soldier and so is a cousin. I know the feeling when Dads tell their families that the risk is all part of the service to their country. I hope we can appreciate them more because they really deserve a lot. I for a fact know that they do not earn that much (God knows they should!), but their fulfillment and commitment is really beyond anything monetary.
I hope we can take a few moments in our day to remember our fallen soldiers in Basilan and their families who will feel the loss forever.
